As a small girl I can remember waking up at Gramma's Sunday mornings to the wonderful smell of fresh apple pies baking in the oven for our weekly family dinner. Everyone would gather around the table, forks would be clinking against the plates and stories of  triumphs and hurdles of the past week were being told. As the first piece of pie was being cut, it would get quiet until the first "MMMMM" was heard.
